Lee's Summit North Boys Basketball v. Ruskin 12/18/12

Lee's Summit North fought for a 77-69 overtime victory over Ruskin in its last contest of 2012.   Led by Richard Chapman and his 23 points, North surged ahead after tying the game at the end of regulation.  Tyler Anderson also contributed with 16 points and 11 rebounds.   The nect contest for Lee's Summit North will come after the new year, with the Broncos facing off against the Lee's Summit West Titans on Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.

Lee's Summit North Boys Basketball v. Sumner Academy 12/13/12

Lee's Summit North beat Sumner Academy by a score of 65-46 on Thursday night at the Hy-Vee Shootout.  The win came just five days after beating Sumner for third place in the Blue Valley Shootout last Saturday.   Leading the way for the Broncos on Thursday was Richard Chapman with 18 points.  Tyler Anderson scored 16, while Chris Robinson added 12.   The Broncos will play Ruskin next Tuesday at 7.

Lee's Summit North Boys Basketball v Topeka Highland Park HS 12/7/12

The Bronco basketball team took a tough loss to Topeka Highland Park HS on Friday night with a score of 61-37.  Tyler Anderson led the team in scoring with 15 points while Richard Chapman contributed 12. The Broncos will play for third place in the Blue Valley Shootout tomorrow against KCK Sumner at 4:30.

Lee's Summit North Boys Basketball v. Lawrence HS 12/6/12

The Lee's Summit North Broncos fought through adversity to beat Lawrence 55-47 on Thursday afternoon at the Blue Valley Shootout. A close game most of the way, the Broncos gained some separation in the fourth quarter with good defense and smart shot selection.  Despite being in foul trouble for much of the first half, Tyler Anderson led the way in scoring. The Broncos play their next game in the Blue Valley Shootout at 6:30 tomorrow against Topeka Highland Park HS.

Lee's Summit North Boys Basketball v. Northeast HS 12/3/12

The Lee's Summit North Broncos lost a hard-fought game to Northeast HS on Saturday, losing 44-43 in a low-scoring battle.  Leading the Broncos was 6'5" senior Tyler Anderson who finished with 20 points and 8 rebounds.  Lee's Summit North will face their next challenge on Thursday, Dec. 6 against Lawrence High School at the Blue Valley Shootout.
